The person receiving touches the cloth before knowing what is inside, so the outer layer of a gift usually says the opening line for you. We keep a few layers of wrapping ready for you to choose by the character of the receiver and by the occasion.
A wooden box can be reused after opening, so it suits gifts for older relatives or pieces meant to be kept. A paper box is light and neat, suiting parcels sent far. Silk cloth has a soft face and a fine drape, and once opened it is still a scarf to use. Canvas and jute have a coarse face with visible weave, going very well with candle jars in woody scents. And linen is a little finer than canvas and holds a fold longer.
We also write letters by hand to the wording you send over, for orders placed in advance. A short letter of a few lines usually stays longer than the object itself, and it is the part we do most slowly in the whole order. The gift, the box and the handwritten letter are a separate service, and we discuss it with you by message to suit the quantity and the style of wrapping.
Choosing what goes inside
The three most often chosen are a cinnamon cup candle jar of one hundred and twenty-five grams with a lid, a fifteen millilitre bottle of essential oil for someone who already has a burner or a mist diffuser, and a one hundred millilitre diffuser with wooden reeds that lasts two to three months in a room.
For a shared gift from a group, a set of two or a set of three cinnamon bark candle jars are the two ways most often chosen, and if you message us we can choose together to suit the occasion.
