We do not write letters often, and each time we try to put something worth reading in them. Sometimes it is a batch of wax that has just cooled, sometimes a piece of cinnamon bark that has just reached the workshop, sometimes only a morning in Van Phuc while the light is still dim. Letters from the Old Forest is where those small things reach you before they go up on the website.
Letters from the Old Forest is ZUNGZA's newsletter, sent by email. Leave your address in the subscribe box at the foot of the page and we will send you news from the workshop, new scents and any offers when there are some. You can stop receiving it at any time with one click inside a letter.
What is usually in a letter
The first part is usually a short story from the workshop, something we have just made or just learnt that week. The middle is what is newly available: a scent just finished, a line of cups back in stock, or a gift-wrapping service for the coming season. The last part is a light invitation, usually to visit the workshop or to read a piece from the journal.
We keep the rhythm sparse and the letters short, because your inbox is a house too, and we would like to be an easy guest in it.
How we look after your email
The email you leave is used only to send ZUNGZA's letters. We do not trade it and we do not sell it, and the way we store information is set out in our privacy policy. At the end of every letter there is a link to stop receiving them, and when you click it everything stops at once.

Sparsely. We only write when there is something worth saying, usually once a month, and a little more often towards the end of the year.
